Year 3

A very warm welcome to our new Year 3 class!

Mr Hill, Mrs Doherty, Mrs Quinn and Mrs Patru are looking forward to the year ahead with our new class coming up from Year 2. We already know that they are an enthusiastic and talented group of children who will be guided throughout the year by our class saint, Saint Teresa of Calcutta.

During her time as a teacher, her kindness, generosity and unfailing commitment to her students’ education, she sought to lead them to a life of devotion to Christ, something in which we strive to offer all of our children at Holy Family. Through assemblies, collective worship and whole school mass, which Fr Fretch will celebrate in church.

Our children will be given a wide and creative curriculum throughout the week where we will use verbal, practical and written methods of learning to really boost the children throughout the coming school year.

The children will also have an opportunity to take part in swimming and a range of workshops throughout the school year, which will provide important learning opportunities for all of them.

It is going to be a great year and we can’t wait for your child to be a part of our class!
