Year 3

A very warm welcome to our new Year 3 class!

The children in Year 3 are taught by Miss Ward and supported by Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Doherty.

This year we will focus on nurturing your child’s well-being, spirituality and academic growth. We offer a safe and loving environment where children feel confident to be themselves and thrive in their learning. We are committed to helping children discover and nurture their God given gifts and talents as we work together as a family of God.

Our engaging and creative curriculum aims to capture the children’s natural curiosity and develop their love of learning, encouraging them to be the best they can be. The range of topics we cover provides children with many exciting learning opportunities and we look forward to seeing their growth and accomplishments over the course of the year.

Our Gospel Virtues are at the heart of everything we do and we ensure our mission statement, ‘to live, love and learn together’, is lived out by our children. Our class saint, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, inspires us because of her kindness and compassion to those who were less fortunate. Her wise words will remind us to follow in her example, spreading our love with others in all we say and do.

We value open communication with parents and encourage you to reach out to us with any questions you may have. Your involvement in your child’s education is invaluable, and together, we can ensure a successful and fulfilling year for your child.

We look forward to an exciting and productive year ahead, filled with growth, learning and memorable experiences.
