Year 4

A warm welcome to Year 4.

This year, Year 4 will be taught by Mr Hill, with the support of Mrs A Lloyd, Mrs D Doherty and Mrs M Patru.

Throughout the year, we will strive to ensure that all children have access to an exciting and engaging curriculum so that they are able to be the very best they can be, in a safe and loving environment. We want all children to develop and succeed academically, but we will also encourage and support children to grow in confidence and independence.

This year, we will be learning about our class saint, Saint Therese of Lisieux; a young French girl, who was struck with severe illness, at an early age, but who remained committed to God and in offering her services to the Carmelite Monastery and the church. We will take inspiration from her and understand what it takes to persevere and to be patient.

Just like our mission statement, we will endeavour to light a fire in the hearts of our children, so that they feel confident and empowered to make a difference in their school, their community and in their ever-changing world.

We welcome the children back to school as they embark on their Year 4 journey. If you ever have any questions/queries, please feel free to contact us.
