Uniform
At Holy Family we believe that school uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of the school. We believe that school uniform:
- Instils pride in our school
- Supports positive behaviour and discipline
- Encourages identity with, and support for school ethos
- Ensures that pupils of all races and backgrounds feel welcome and included
- Protects children from social pressures to dress in a particular way
- Nurtures cohesion and promotes good relations between different groups of pupils
- Supports effective teaching and learning
The school uniform will be worn by all pupils from Reception to Year 6 without exception. We encourage our Nursery pupils to also wear school uniform.
V-neck jumpers, cardigans and PE shirts with the school logo can be purchased online from Brigade Clothing Ltd Orders are sent directly to school and then handed to the class teachers to give to the children.
Other items of uniform can be purchased from stores such as Asda, Tesco and M&S.
All new children are given a new jumper/cardigan upon admission as well as a tie and book bag. If you are struggling to purchase uniform please speak to the school office so they can assist you and provide the uniform you need.

School Uniform Recycling Scheme
Please drop off any used/unwanted uniform that your child may have grown out of to Reception.
Lost Property
Please name all children’s items of clothing so they can be returned to their owners. All mislaid items are placed in the lost property cupboard, please ask the school office if your child has lost an item of clothing so they can help you find them.
