Jubilee Year 2025: Pilgrims of Hope
At Holy Family, we are joyfully embracing the Jubilee Year 2025, proclaimed by Pope Francis with the inspiring theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope’.
This special year, running from 24 December 2024 to 6 January 2026, is a sacred invitation for us all to renew our relationship with God, with one another, and with all of creation.
As a Catholic school community, we are dedicating time throughout the year to reflect on the core themes of the Jubilee:
- Care for Creation
- Forgiveness and Reconciliation
- Justice and Peace
- Pilgrimage, Rest, and Hope
These themes will guide our learning, prayer, and action as we strive to live out our mission:
‘Grow in Love, in the Spirit of Christ, for the Benefit of All.’
To mark the beginning of this Holy Year, which traditionally occurs every 25 years in the Church, we launched our Corridor of Hope – a space that symbolizes our journey together as a school family, walking in faith and hope.
We look forward to celebrating our Catholic faith in meaningful and creative ways throughout the year, becoming true Pilgrims of Hope in our world
The Jubilee Prayer
Father in Heaven,
thank You for giving us faith in Jesus, Your Son,
and filling our hearts
with love through the Holy Spirit.
Help us to remember the hope of Your Kingdom,
where peace and love will shine forever.
Teach us to plant seeds of kindness and
goodness in the world, so that one day,
everything will be made new and beautiful in Your glory.
During this Jubilee, make us Pilgrims of Hope,
bringing joy and peace to everyone we meet.
We praise and thank You, God, now and always.
