Year 1 and Year 2 presented a Music Concert showcasing their djembe drumming skills and singing from their weekly Music Service support with Mr Downton and their daily singing across this academic year.
It was wonderful to see and hear the variety of listening and rhythm patterns the children know and their ability to work collaboratively in their performance.
Parents came to support this special event and were impressed with drumming skills using Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds and a call and response song called Hands, Feet and Heart.
The children enjoyed this event and this was apparent with all the happy smiling faces engaged in a musical afternoon of fun!
