This week, we were delighted to welcome visitors from Stories of Hope and Home to Holy Family.
Our visitors spent time with each class, helping the children to understand what it means to be an asylum seeker and the many challenges people face when they have to leave their homes in search of safety. They shared their own powerful and moving stories about why they had to leave their countries and their journeys to England.
The children listened with great interest and empathy, asking thoughtful questions that showed their curiosity and compassion.
It was an inspiring and educational experience for everyone, helping us all to appreciate the importance of kindness, understanding, and hope.
