Year 5 came together to celebrate a joyful Easter Mass, remembering that Jesus rose from the dead. The church was decorated with white cloth and flowers, reminding us of new life and hope.
The Gospel from Saint John was read by the children and told the story of the empty tomb on Easter morning. We heard how Mary Magdalene, Peter, and John discovered that Jesus was no longer in the tomb, showing that He had risen.
The children also led the readings and prayers, reading clearly and respectfully. Through the Gospel and the homily, the children reflected on how Jesus’ resurrection gives us hope and encourages us to be kind, loving, and forgiving.
Year 5 showed excellent reverence and understanding, and the Mass helped everyone remember the joyful message of Easter.
