Year 5 visited Green Lane Masjid to learn more about Islam and the role of a mosque in the local community, as part of their Interfaith learning.
During the visit, pupils were welcomed by friendly staff who explained key features of the building, including the prayer hall, and answered thoughtful questions from the children. The class learned about daily prayers, important values such as kindness and respect, and how the mosque supports people in the area.
Pupils behaved respectfully throughout the visit and left with a better understanding of different cultures and beliefs, making it an enjoyable and educational experience for everyone.
