To celebrate our class saint, Saint Teresa of Calcutta, Year 3 explored fascinating facts about her life. We learnt about her childhood, her journey into religious life as a nun, and the incredible work she carried out before being recognised as a saint.
The children enjoyed creating a fact file to showcase their learning and produced some beautiful artwork to celebrate her life and legacy.
We also reflected on how Saint Teresa continues to inspire us through her kindness, compassion and selfless actions.
We discussed how we can follow her example in today’s society by showing love, helping others, treating everyone with respect and making a positive difference in the lives of those around us.
